Knowledge and Skills of Graduates
Graduates will have a sound understanding of leadership, communication and educational theory. Additionally, the degree provides the opportunity to choose a concentration area that allows students to further develop specific skills and behaviors in their career interest. This might include study in program planning, evaluation, strategic communication, organizational leadership, or leading change.
Students completing this degree are prepared for successful careers in academia, nonprofit organizations, commodity groups, public relations agencies, extension, corporations, and government. Graduates will be the leaders, communicators and educators in the food and agricultural industries in the future.
