18 hours required. Note: Students wanting to concentrate in Forestry, should take Biology 1200, Botany, for the GenEd Biology credit.

- Political Science 4870, Environmental Theory and Politics
- Rural Sociology 4370, Environment and Society
12 additional hours, 9 of which must be at the 3000 level or higher, from the following specialty areas:
- Biological Sciences
- Fisheries and Wildlife
- Forestry
- Soils, Environmental and Atmospheric Sciences
