Animal Sciences Track
18 hours required. Note: To complete this specialty area, students must complete College Algebra during the Freshman year; complete the Chemistry requirement by the end of the first semester Sophomore year; and must complete the Biochemistry requirement (Biochem 2110) by the end of the second semester Sophomore year.
The Companion Animal course, Animal Sciences 2140, may be taken as an elective only, not as part of the 18-hour Animal Sciences Track. Areas of specialty within animal sciences include: beef production and management, swine production, dairy production, poultry production, meat science.

12 hours of electives:
- 2000-level elective (3 hours)
- Nine hours at the 3000 level or higher
