The doctoral program committee may recommend that any or all of the credits from a masters degree be counted toward the total credits required for the doctoral degree, and that additional credits be transferred for continued graduate work completed either at MU or elsewhere. (Extension or correspondence course work from institutions other than the University of Missouri may not be transferred for the doctoral degree.)

Concentration (12 credit minimum)
Course work focusing on developing an area of expertise; may include, but not limited to: teacher education, adult education, journalism, educational leadership, agricultural economics and agricultural systems management. There is a minor in College Teaching that is officially approved by the University.
